Longview Hometown resident passed away on October 30, in Phoenix, Arizona, where he had resided since September of 2010. Enjoyed an 18-year retirement, after working 36 years as a Journeyman plumber with Local 130.
Proud USMC Veteran of the Korean War, member and former Commander of the VFW Post 9773.
Husband of the late Carole (McLaughin), Father of Peggy (Gerard) Roy, Michele (Rob) Rettke, Terrance (Megan), Laurie Barton, Cari (Lewis) Miller, Frank (Maureen). Eldest brother of the late Gerald, late Daniel, Grace (Babbe), Thomas, Emmett, Dennis, John, and Patricia. Grandfather and Uncle to many.
Memorial service were held Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Hometown VFW Post 9773, at 9092 S. Main St., Hometown, IL, from 6pm 8pm, with a brief ceremony at 7:30pm.
